Playmates Toys buys back 432,000 shares; total repurchases reach 28.99 million under 2026 mandate

Playmates Toys Limited filed a Next Day Disclosure Return dated 16 September 2026 detailing its latest on-market share repurchase activity.

On 16 September 2026 the company bought back 432,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at HK$0.47 per share, for a consideration of HK$0.20 million. These shares will be cancelled.

Including this transaction, 6.14 million shares acquired between 24 August and 16 September 2026 are now pending cancellation. Until these shares are cancelled, Playmates Toys’ issued share capital remains unchanged at 1.135 billion shares, and the company continues to hold no treasury shares.

The buy-backs form part of the mandate approved on 22 May 2026, which permits the repurchase of up to 117.03 million shares. To date, 28.99 million shares—equivalent to 2.48% of the share count on the mandate date—have been repurchased at an aggregate cost not disclosed in the filing.

Under Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a), the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 16 October 2026.
