Goertek Inc. (002241.SZ) has issued an announcement stating that since it began planning the spin-off and listing, the company has actively advanced related matters, organized intermediary institutions to carry out due diligence and other relevant work, and strictly fulfilled its decision-making procedures and information disclosure obligations in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and normative documents.

Based on a comprehensive consideration of changes in the external environment and the development plans of both the company and Goertek Microelectronics, and adhering to the principle of safeguarding shareholder interests and being responsible to shareholders, the company has decided after prudent discussion and assessment to terminate the spin-off of Goertek Microelectronics for listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
