Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China Limited (ICBC) has conducted a working exchange with the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Technology Innovation Center, aiming to deepen collaboration in the science and innovation sector.
On June 3, Liao Lin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of ICBC, visited the center to hold in-depth discussions with its principal leaders. The focus was on furthering bank-government-enterprise cooperation in science and innovation to better serve the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and support technological self-reliance.
The center presented its global collaborative innovation system, which integrates technology research and development, industrial cultivation, and talent development. It also detailed its work in organizing disruptive technological innovation and promoting the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, sharing the outcomes of the existing collaboration between the two parties.
Both sides reached a significant consensus on deepening their strategic partnership. They agreed to advance the use of ICBC's full-cycle technology finance products and services to facilitate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
ICBC is actively implementing the central government's directives to strengthen basic research and foster deep integration between technological innovation and industrial innovation. The bank is exploring innovative models for serving the commercialization of scientific achievements.
By collaborating with government bodies, national laboratories, research institutes, universities, and technology enterprises, ICBC is committed to building an ecosystem platform for technology finance. The goal is to provide comprehensive financial solutions to support the center's development in technology, industry, and talent innovation systems, thereby aiding the integrated development of industry, academia, research, and finance and supporting technological innovation from its source.
