Stock News08-14

Lingbao Gold (03330) shares climbed more than 4% on Thursday, trading at HK$21.36 with a turnover of HK$526 million as of the latest update.

According to a recent company announcement, the overall exploration work at the Habahe Huatai Gold Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the group) in the Altay region of Xinjiang, along with its subsidiary Habahe County Huayuan Mining Co., Ltd. (a 60% indirectly held non-wholly-owned subsidiary), has achieved significant phased progress. As of June 30, 2026, the total resource reserves have surged from 13.20 tonnes at the end of 2025 (as disclosed in the company's 2025 annual report) to 53.94 tonnes.

Earlier, Lingbao Gold issued a positive profit alert, forecasting that for the six months ending June 30, 2026, the group's revenue will be approximately RMB 7.9 billion to RMB 8.1 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of about 1% to 4%. Net profit is expected to be between RMB 950 million and RMB 1.05 billion, up approximately 42% to 57% year-on-year. The company attributed the strong profit performance to stable production and operations during the first half, the strict implementation of cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancing measures, and the benefit of rising gold prices for its main product.
