According to the regulations, the Guangdong BA league is divided into Eastern and Western zones. The Eastern zone comprises 11 teams (Qingyuan, Shaoguan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, Heyuan, Meizhou, Chaozhou, Jieyang, Shantou, Shanwei), and the Western zone has 10 teams (Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Foshan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Yangjiang, Zhanjiang, Maoming, Zhaoqing, Yunfu).
