Following the introduction of new housing policies in Wuhan, Hubei province, on April 30, the local property market showed positive responses during the recent May Day holiday. The measures, known as the "Han Seven Articles," include easing criteria for first-home identification, increasing mortgage support, optimizing the use of housing provident funds, and boosting incentives for purchasing commercial and office properties.
Around the same period, several cities in Guangdong province also implemented a new round of real estate optimization policies, coinciding with the holiday period. As a result, cities such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen reported increased customer visits to new housing developments.
Earlier, on April 13, Wuxi in Jiangsu province issued detailed rules offering home purchase subsidies to attract talent. Since the implementation of these new measures, activity in the local property market has continued to rise.
