NCR Voyix announced on May 27 a collaboration with Bank of America's Voyager to activate Voyager fleet card payment functionality within its cloud-based POS system, supporting commercial fuel transactions. This partnership further extends NCR Voyix's capabilities in the commercial fuel payments sector.

The collaboration will cover over 18,000 fuel stations. Under the agreement, NCR Voyix's payment platform, Voyix Connect, will integrate with the Voyager network to provide transaction processing support for fleets using Voyager fleet cards. NCR Voyix anticipates a phased deployment of the Voyager fleet card payment feature across its network of more than 18,000 fuel stations nationwide, commencing in 2026.

Nick East, Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at NCR Voyix, stated, "As we expand our commercial fuel capabilities, our focus remains on making it easier for fuel and convenience store customers to accept and manage fleet transactions. Integrating Voyager through Voyix Connect helps achieve this goal, offering a consistent fueling payment experience while enhancing our next-generation commercial services capabilities."

Joe Eykyn, Senior Vice President at Bank of America Voyager, added, "Partnering with NCR Voyix to enable seamless payment acceptance through a modern, cloud-based POS environment helps reach more merchants, supporting them in serving fleet customers quickly and reliably."

This partnership is part of NCR Voyix's ongoing expansion of its commercial fuel portfolio, as operators accelerate the modernization of infrastructure and adoption of cloud-native solutions. In October 2025, NCR Voyix entered a similar agreement with WEX, also utilizing Voyix Connect to support WEX fleet card payments. The WEX integration is also expected to launch in 2026.

The Voyager fleet card, launched by Bank of America in 1997, is widely regarded as one of the industry's leading fleet and fuel cards. It is accepted at over 320,000 fuel stations across the United States, covering 97% of stations, with clients including Amazon, Verizon, and the United States Postal Service.

The collaboration builds upon NCR Voyix's solid financial foundation. For the first quarter of 2026, the company reported revenue of $606 million, slightly down from $612 million in the prior-year period. Net loss narrowed significantly to $2 million from $21 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA was $78 million, up from $74 million in the same quarter last year. Non-GAAP earnings per share were $0.10, compared to $0.08 in the prior-year period.

Key business metrics showed recurring revenue reached $419 million, a 3.7% year-over-year increase. Software and services revenue was $472 million. The remaining performance obligation for Voyix Commerce platform applications was approximately $293 million, a nearly 75% increase year-over-year. New customer contracts accounted for 13% of the remaining performance obligation at quarter-end. As of March 31, the company had 83,000 platform sites and over 8,500 payment sites, representing year-over-year growth of 7% and 3%, respectively.

James G. Kelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of NCR Voyix, commented, "Demand for Voyix Commerce platform applications remains strong, evidenced by new customer signings and growing interest from retailers and restaurants globally." The company expects the Voyager integration to continue this momentum, strengthening its commercial services offerings within the cloud POS environment.

Both parties plan to begin promoting Voyager card payments across the fuel station network starting in 2026. For NCR Voyix, this represents another significant expansion of its commercial fuel product portfolio and further solidifies its market position as a technology solutions provider for convenience stores and fuel stations.
