Liquor Price Index Hits Weekly High on February 17th as Total Price Continues Upward Trend

Deep News02-17

Data collected over the past 24 hours indicates that the average retail price of the top ten Chinese liquor products continued its upward trajectory on February 17th. If one bottle of each of the ten major products were sold as a bundle, the total price today would be 9,221 yuan, an increase of 23 yuan from the previous day, setting a new weekly high. As Spring Festival consumption enters a peak release phase, sustained growth in end-consumer demand is directly driving prices upward. The overall market performed strongly today, with all ten major products experiencing price increases, and half of them reaching their highest prices in a month. Leading the gains, Feitian Moutai and Gujing Gongjiu Gu 20 both rose by 5 yuan per bottle; Gujiao 1573 increased by 3 yuan per bottle; Wuliangye普五八代, Qinghua Fenjiu 20, and Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ each rose by 2 yuan per bottle; Premium Moutai, Xijiu Junpin, Qinghua Lang, and Crystal Jiannanchun saw modest increases of 1 yuan per bottle. Overall, the price increases were well-distributed, indicating stable market conditions.

The daily data is sourced from approximately 200 collection points reasonably distributed across major regions nationwide, including but not limited to designated distributors of liquor companies, independent distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sampling data consists of actual transaction-based retail prices from these points over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide objective, authentic, scientific, and fully traceable data on the market prices of renowned liquors. Since the official iMoutai platform began selling Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle on New Year's Day and Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle starting January 9th, the gravitational influence of this new sales channel on the average retail prices of these two products has gradually become apparent. The daily liquor prices follow a calculation rule weighted by actual transaction volume, and quantifiable prices from this platform are being progressively incorporated into the terminal retail price calculations for Feitian Moutai and Premium Moutai.

In other significant liquor industry news, market supply of Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. liquor tightened during the Spring Festival holiday, with the company's Shuanglong Smart Logistics Park experiencing its annual supply guarantee peak. Serving as Moutai Group's strategic reserve center and national distribution hub, the logistics park integrates intelligent warehousing and digital management systems. This Spring Festival, the workload of its core facility, the Shuanglong warehouse, doubled compared to previous years. To handle the surge in logistics demand, the park significantly increased staffing: daily allocations for B2B order handlers rose by 30 to 40 people, while personnel handling the explosive growth in B2C scattered orders increased by over 70 people per day, simultaneously processing more than 10,000 orders. Furthermore, to shorten delivery times and optimize the consumer experience, the iMoutai platform added two new dedicated "C warehouses" in Nanjing and Beijing on January 24th, supplementing the original Guiyang shipping warehouse. These three "C warehouses" will enable localized shipping in the future, further enhancing delivery efficiency.
