TANWAN (09890) announced that on November 27, 2025, its wholly-owned subsidiary Guangzhou Liliya Culture & Entertainment Co., Ltd. (TANWAN) entered into a strategic cooperation agreement titled "Artist Works Development Collaboration Agreement" with COEXIST CO., LIMITED and Shenzhen Gongyisi Culture Co., Ltd. (collectively referred to as the "COEXIST Group"). The partnership aims to integrate over 200 pop toy artists for the joint development, sales, and promotion of derivative artworks. The agreement is valid for five years, from November 27, 2025, to November 26, 2030.
This collaboration signifies TANWAN’s expansion in the pop toy industry by leveraging its expertise in digital entertainment, enhancing its business ecosystem, and pioneering a new chapter that merges "Classic IP + Artist IP." Under the agreement, COEXIST Group will utilize its extensive artist network to secure legally binding authorization contracts with over 200 top-tier, mid-level, and emerging artists. This will grant full licensing and sublicensing rights for the project, creating a high-value IP matrix that aligns artistic excellence with commercial viability.
The authorized scope includes derivative product development, design, production, and sales based on artists’ original works, animated characters, visual elements, names, logos, designs, themes, sketches, and related trademarks or intellectual property (collectively termed "Artistic Works"). TANWAN will hold exclusive rights to develop, design, manufacture, and sell pop toy products (including sculptures, plush toys, figurines, building blocks, BJDs, and other 3D derivatives) during the collaboration period. Additionally, it will obtain non-exclusive rights for other authorized derivative products across all categories.
Leveraging its digital entertainment experience, TANWAN will apply its strengths in product development, distribution channels, event planning, and creative marketing to maximize the diversified value of artistic IPs. This partnership with COEXIST Group goes beyond conventional licensing—it seeks to redefine the "Artist IP" model.
TANWAN will employ its core competencies in user insights, big data analytics, and precision marketing to support COEXIST Group’s artists throughout the creative process, from initial positioning and market evaluation to product development and multi-channel promotions. Moving forward, TANWAN plans to explore further collaborations with artists and deepen ties with COEXIST Group, extending partnerships to its proprietary brands (e.g., BRO KOOLI, CASHY BABY, LILIA ANGEL) and globally recognized classic IPs like Garfield, Sesame Street, and PINGU (Pingu Family) to foster innovative IP product development.
In its strategic roadmap for the pop toy sector, TANWAN will continue focusing on its "IP Ecosystem Strategy," building a new pop toy ecosystem anchored by "Classic IP + Artist IP," "Emotional Interaction Design," and "Scenario-Based Social Experiences." Upholding its brand philosophy of "Brightening Everyday Life with Creativity and Fun," the group aims to deliver emotional resonance through its products, making art an integral part of daily life and self-expression. TANWAN remains committed to deepening its IP ecosystem, driven by user demand, to create immersive and emotionally enriching pop toy experiences for global audiences.
