Allied Sustainability and Environmental Consultants Group Limited (AEC) announced two strategic initiatives designed to diversify revenue and strengthen its position as a comprehensive sustainability enabler.
On 31 March 2026, the board formally approved an expanded business scope that targets hydrogen power and other renewable energy markets. Leveraging existing environmental expertise, AEC will provide consultancy and technical research on hydrogen and renewable energy utilisation, and sell hydrogen-powered vehicles, drones, equipment, and related components. Management views global adoption of hydrogen power as a long-term growth catalyst.
To execute the plan, the Group established AEC Co-Build Hydrogen Technology (Zhengzhou) Limited in March 2026. The new subsidiary will spearhead hydrogen-related operations across mainland China.
Concurrently, AEC is launching a Sustainable Supply Chain Advisory segment comprising: 1) trading of sustainable products; 2) provision of proprietary or partner green-tech solutions; 3) integrated advisory on sustainable procurement; 4) green certification for products and building materials; and 5) carbon-footprint advisory for products and manufacturing processes.
The initiative aims to close the “delivery gap” between corporate net-zero commitments and implementation by offering clients end-to-end solutions, including smart IoT and AI-driven tools for ESG compliance and green-finance reporting. Management expects this segment to create more resilient, diversified income beyond traditional consulting fees.
The Group will continue to pursue business innovation at the intersection of finance, technology, and the environment throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
