On Wednesday, the three major U.S. stock indices collectively closed higher. The Hang Seng Index ADR also rose, proportionally calculated to close at 25,680.34 points, up 139.56 or 0.55% from Hong Kong's closing. Large-cap blue-chip stocks showed mixed performance: HSBC Holdings closed at HK$115.266, up 3.19% from Hong Kong's closing, while Tencent Holdings closed at HK$601.616, down 0.23% from Hong Kong's closing.
