Iflytek Unveils Cultural Tourism Large Model at 2025 Digital Economy Expo, Paving New Path for Digital Transformation in the Industry

Deep News10-22

From October 17 to 19, the 2025 China International Digital Economy Expo was held in Shijiazhuang, where Iflytek Co., Ltd. showcased its innovative large model solutions for cultural tourism. These achievements earned the “Digital Product Innovation Award” in the cultural tourism sector during the expo, highlighting the deep application of AI technology in this field.

At the Chief Data Officer Summit, part of the expo's parallel forums, Wang Wei, head of Iflytek's intelligent computing division in Hebei, delivered a keynote titled “Cultural Tourism Large Model Empowering Quality Development in County Tourism.” He shared practical results regarding AI technology in the transformation and upgrade of county-level cultural tourism. “County tourism is not only a crucial lever for rural revitalization but also a key contributor to the growth of the cultural tourism industry,” noted Wang. He addressed common challenges in county scenic spots such as service homogenization and poor marketing effectiveness, presenting a solution based on large model technology for the digital transformation and upgrading of the cultural tourism sector. This solution has been successfully implemented in multiple locations, developing three core application scenarios: AI tour guide services, operational decision support, and industry data analysis, effectively enhancing public service optimization, industry efficiency, and collaborative development.

“Technological innovation ultimately must return to value creation,” Wang emphasized. “We hope to achieve a ‘qualitative effective enhancement’ and ‘reasonable quantitative growth’ in county tourism through AI empowerment.”

At the expo, the Iflytek cultural tourism large model attracted many visitors eager to experience its capabilities. This model, built upon Iflytek Spark's large model, targets three core scenarios: tourists (C-side), merchants (B-side), and government (G-side), constructing an intelligent service ecosystem that covers the entire tourism chain from “pre-trip—during trip—post-trip.”

Demonstrations included AI personalized itinerary recommendations, “AI travel companions,” and multi-language intelligent tour guides. The latest smart glasses feature real-time translation in 84 languages, effectively addressing communication challenges for international visitors. On the merchant side, the large model enhances scenarios such as intelligent customer service for attractions, visitor flow forecasting, and precision marketing. For government entities, it aids in constructing a smart cultural tourism regulatory platform through data analysis and decision support systems, promoting efficient coordination of cultural tourism resources.

Currently, Iflytek has entered into cultural tourism collaborations with attractions and cities such as the Palace Museum in Beijing, Yungang Grottoes, and Qinhuangdao. Applications like AI-guided tours and smart interactions have significantly improved visitor satisfaction and conversion rates. Due to its outstanding technological innovation and tangible practical effects, Iflytek's cultural tourism large model received the “Digital Product Innovation Award” at this expo and has also achieved significant accolades and applications at various important domestic events such as Digital China and the World Artificial Intelligence Conference.

“These honors fully affirm our technological direction,” Wang stated. Looking ahead, Iflytek aims to continue deepening its work in vertical cultural tourism scenes, promoting the integration of large model technology with county-specific resources to facilitate the leapfrog development of “small counties” into “big tourism.”
