The surge follows an announcement by HKBN (01310) regarding the launch of an "AI + Domestic Computing Platform." HKBN has signed agreements with YEEBO's subsidiaries, Suanfeng Information and Tianyi Zhike, to deploy domestic computing infrastructure at the Cyberport Data Centre. HKBN will invest HK$100 million to integrate local network infrastructure and computing resources, addressing growing corporate demand for intelligent computing. The platform will incorporate computing resources from MetaX and Biren Technology. The Group President and COO noted an upward trend in token usage and indicated potential for increased future investment.
