JD.com has partnered with 12 hardware brands, including Lenovo, Red Magic, ROG, ASUS, AOC, Gigabyte, Colorful, Galaxy, MSI, SANC, HKC, and Maxsun, to officially launch the virtual idol group "Twelve Maidens." The group simultaneously released its debut AI single, "Unlock my love." On March 2nd, the "Twelve Maidens," powered by JD.com's JoyAI large model, will make their first collective live appearance on JD.com's "PC Building Master" livestream.
The 12 members of the "Twelve Maidens" correspond to the representative virtual personas of each partner brand. These include Lenovo's Savior Maiden, Red Magic's Red Magic Maiden, ROG's RO Maiden, ASUS's Chosen Maiden, AOC's AGON Maiden, Gigabyte's Aorus Sister, Colorful's Qi Xiao Xi, Galaxy's Starry Maiden, MSI's Dragon Maiden, SANC's koko, HKC's Aurora Maiden, and Maxsun's Aija. In the AI music video for "Unlock My Love," all twelve members appear together on stage, showcasing diverse styles that blend harmoniously, presenting a vision of a multifaceted yet unified digital world.
This dynamic presentation is supported by JD.com's self-developed JoyAI large model. The JoyAI digital human model utilizes DiT as its pre-trained video generation foundation and supports various input control conditions such as text, audio, reference images, and poses. The generated digital humans exhibit highly accurate lip-syncing, strong expressiveness, and robust text controllability. This technology ensures the "Twelve Maidens" achieve a highly realistic appearance, emotional voice delivery, natural movements, and precise lip synchronization, overcoming the limitations of traditional virtual idols that often rely on pre-recorded content and offer weak interactivity.
To further enrich the "Twelve Maidens" IP content ecosystem, JD.com will also collaborate with the AIGC Game IP Short Film Competition segment of the 16th Beijing International Film Festival's Game·Anime·Film unit. They will launch the "Twelve Maidens' Metaverse" AI Comic Drama - JD.com Film and Drama Competition track, extending a co-creation invitation to global anime enthusiasts, esports players, AIGC creators, and brand fans.
