MNSO cancels 24.92 million repurchased shares, shrinking outstanding stock by 2.01%

MINISO Group Holding Limited (MNSO) has reduced its share capital through the cancellation of 24.92 million previously repurchased ordinary shares, according to a Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 24 August 2026. The move lowers the company’s issued share count by 2.01% to 1.21 billion shares.

The cancellations cover two separate repurchase programmes: 1. Hong Kong Stock Exchange: 19.04 million shares bought back between 21 August 2025 and 11 June 2026 were cancelled at a volume-weighted average price of HKD 29.02 per share, trimming the share base by 1.54%. 2. New York Stock Exchange: 5.88 million shares acquired from 20 November 2025 to 10 June 2026 were cancelled at an average price of USD 3.93 per share, reducing the share count by a further 0.47%.

These actions lowered the total number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) from 1.24 billion to 1.21 billion as of 24 August 2026. The company reported zero treasury shares remaining and indicated no additional repurchases awaiting cancellation.

Management confirmed that all repurchase and cancellation procedures complied with Hong Kong Main Board Rule 13.25C and other applicable regulatory requirements.
