Xingtai's AEO-Certified Enterprises Increase to 20

Deep News12-16

On December 5, it was reported that Xingtai City has added four new AEO-certified enterprises, bringing the total number to 20.

AEO, or "Authorized Economic Operator," is a designation by the World Customs Organization for high-credit enterprises, serving as a "green passport" for foreign trade companies entering international markets. These enterprises enjoy various customs clearance conveniences and policy benefits.

To encourage more high-quality enterprises to obtain AEO certification, Xingtai Customs has innovated its service model this year by collaborating with commerce departments to establish a coordinated cultivation mechanism. Targeting regional industrial clusters—such as Qinghe cashmere and Nanhe pet food—the customs has organized policy briefings, provided one-on-one guidance, and offered real-time online consultations to help companies address management gaps and build internal control and trade security systems that meet international standards.

Additionally, a long-term service mechanism has been implemented to optimize cultivation efforts, focusing on quality control and internal system improvements while tracking the progress of each enterprise to ensure compliance upon certification.

"With the precise guidance from customs, we improved key areas like supply chain security management and document traceability within six months, successfully obtaining AEO certification. Our exports have become much smoother," said Guo Liming, the foreign trade director of Hebei Lideer Cookware Co., Ltd., which reported nearly 100 million yuan in exports this year.

Zhang Lifen, Deputy Director of Xingtai Customs, stated that the customs will further expand AEO certification coverage, prioritizing specialized and innovative enterprises as well as leading companies in regional industrial clusters. By deepening incentive collaborations with tax and financial departments, more enterprises will leverage AEO qualifications to reduce trade costs and expand into overseas markets.
