nVent Electric plc shares surged 15.59% in intraday trading, driven by second-quarter results that handily beat analyst expectations and a significantly raised full-year outlook.
The company reported adjusted earnings of $1.45 per share, far above the consensus estimate of $1.16, while revenue of $1.47 billion topped forecasts of $1.26 billion. nVent also lifted its 2026 guidance, now expecting sales growth of 37% to 39% and adjusted earnings of $5.00 to $5.10 per share, up from prior projections of $4.45 to $4.55.
The strong performance was fueled by robust demand from data centers, and the company separately announced a new 160,000-square-foot manufacturing site in Minnesota to expand its liquid cooling capacity for AI and high‑performance computing applications.
