The collaboration focuses on conducting a clinical efficacy evaluation of "5100" Tibet Glacier Mineral Water for patients with hyperuricemia. It will also involve extended research and mechanism exploration into the potential effects of the mineral composition of the water on uric acid metabolism and renal excretion mechanisms. Professor Feng, who leads the team, is affiliated with both the HKU School of Chinese Medicine and the Centre for Integrative Medicine at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine. He was recognized as a "Highly Cited Researcher 2024" by Clarivate and has consistently been ranked among the top 1% of scholars globally by Clarivate and within the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University. As a representative enterprise in the natural drinking water sector in Tibet, the Group is committed to exploring the functional health benefits of high-quality natural mineral water. This collaboration aims to integrate the traditional Chinese medicine concept of "medicinal food homology" with modern evidence-based medical research methods to conduct a systematic study of the health functions of "5100" products. The initiative is expected to provide new scientific perspectives on the integration of TCM clinical treatment and daily health management. The Board believes this cooperation will enhance the scientific research foundation of the Group's products and accumulate experience for future product development and technological innovation in the broader health industry.
