Fuel prices in Hainan province are set to rise. The adjustment follows the national pricing information released by the state planning authority.
Provincial authorities have aligned local maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel with the new national benchmarks, effective from midnight on July 18, 2026.
Following the increase, the price for 92-octane gasoline will be 8.53 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline will be 9.06 yuan per liter, and 0-grade diesel will be 7.16 yuan per liter.
This represents an increase of 0.24 yuan, 0.26 yuan, and 0.25 yuan per liter, respectively.
In accordance with related regulations on the linkage between oil and gas prices, the retail price for vehicle-use compressed natural gas in the province will also rise from 4.96 yuan per cubic meter to 5.12 yuan per cubic meter.
