iMotion Automotive Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (IMOTIONTECH) reported first-half 2026 revenue of RMB 760.50 million, a 107.79% jump from the prior-year period, driven by rapid scaling of its advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) portfolio.
Revenue Mix and Growth Drivers • ADAS solutions and products contributed RMB 664.14 million, up 102.79% and accounting for 87.33% of total revenue. – AD domain controllers: RMB 547.36 million (+85.92%). – Intelligent front cameras: RMB 116.78 million (+252.92%). • Autonomous-driving R&D services generated RMB 17.86 million, down 30.75%, representing 2.35% of revenue. • Sales of PCB assemblies and auxiliary materials rose 516.56% to RMB 78.35 million, making up 10.30% of revenue. • Over 289,000 ADAS units were delivered, a year-on-year volume increase of 149.14%; cumulative deliveries since 2020 exceeded 1.12 million units.

Capital Expenditure and R&D • Capex declined 27.69% to RMB 89.98 million as major plant construction outlays moderated. • The company mass-produced new domain controllers (iDC310, iDC510 Pro) and delivered Level-4 iDC700 controllers for unmanned logistics vehicles. • The proprietary iMotion large model completed provincial filing, enhancing perception and decision-making capabilities for urban, highway and parking scenarios.
Equity Movements • IMOTIONTECH repurchased 3.63 million H shares during the period for HK$16.03 million; repurchased shares are held as treasury stock. • Unused proceeds from prior placings totalled HK$21.55 million as at 30 June 2026, earmarked mainly for overseas network expansion and robotics R&D. • No interim dividend was declared.
Regulatory and Market Context The first half of 2026 saw China’s auto production and sales dip 4%, yet new-energy vehicle output rose 6.7%, pushing NEV market share to 49.6%. ADAS penetration in new passenger cars reached 70.5%, with NOA-equipped models surpassing 34.2%. IMOTIONTECH secured 37 new project nominations from OEMs—including Chery, GAC, Geely, Leapmotor and Dongfeng—almost doubling the prior-year tally and expanding into Northern China, Taiwan and overseas supply chains.
Looking Ahead Management plans to enlarge manufacturing capacity at its Suzhou smart plant, advance software algorithms (including vision-language-action models), and deepen collaboration with chip partner Horizon Robotics. Overseas growth will continue with a new Japanese business unit and a Malaysian joint venture set for mass production in 3Q 2026. The firm is also accelerating commercialization of embodied-intelligence products such as charging robots, and enhancing on-device computing platforms for robotics applications.
