Stock News07-29

3D Medicines Inc. (01244) has released an inside information announcement, disclosing a major positive ruling in its arbitration dispute with SELLAS Life Sciences Group, Inc. The case, fully heard by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, resulted in a final decision from a sole arbitrator.

The sole arbitrator's final ruling comprehensively dismissed all claims brought by SELLAS. Furthermore, the arbitrator ordered SELLAS to bear the related costs of the arbitration, totaling HK$7,983,004.42. SELLAS is required to pay this amount in full within 14 days from the date of the award (i.e., on or before August 7, 2026). If the debt is not cleared on time, the outstanding sum will incur overdue interest at an annual rate of 8%.

3D Medicines emphasized that this arbitration award does not affect the performance of the license agreement between the two parties. The company will strictly adhere to the terms of the license agreement and continue to advance the development and commercialization of 3D189 (a WT1-targeted cancer vaccine) in the Greater China region.

3D189 is a therapeutic cancer vaccine targeting WT1 and is currently undergoing a global multi-center Phase III clinical trial. According to the latest report from SELLAS, the total number of events in the study has reached 78. SELLAS remains blinded to all efficacy and survival data results. The final analysis will be triggered once 80 deaths have occurred, which will further validate the potential of GPS to meet the treatment needs of AML patients.

3D189 is being developed for a wide range of indications, holding broad clinical application prospects. This comprehensive victory in arbitration removes the uncertainty caused by the cooperation dispute, safeguarding the company's pipeline development plans. The arbitration result has fully protected the company's legitimate rights and interests. The company will continue to focus on innovative pipeline research and development, as well as commercialization, steadily advancing the commercial operations of Envida, RDC radiopharmaceuticals, mRNA-LNP cancer vaccines, In vivo CAR, and other cutting-edge platforms, persistently providing patients with high-quality innovative treatment options.
