At the start of the new year, the production workshop of Great Wall Motor Company Limited's Tianjin Haval branch was operating at full capacity, with robotic arms moving precisely and new vehicles rolling off the assembly line one after another.
On March 4, staff from State Grid Tianjin Binhai Company conducted a comprehensive inspection of the enterprise's 110-kilovolt substation, power distribution room, transformers, and high/low-voltage equipment in the precision production workshop using professional testing devices. Cao Zhixing, the production manager at Great Wall Motor's Tianjin Haval branch, stated, "During the first week of resuming work, the power department helped us achieve full-capacity operation, giving us greater confidence to maximize production and fulfill orders."
Following the Lunar New Year holiday, State Grid Tianjin Binhai Company established a dedicated "Power Supply Guarantee for Work Resumption" service team, creating a "one-to-one" 24-hour communication channel for enterprises to address their electricity needs promptly.
Around the Lantern Festival, as businesses gradually accelerated their post-holiday production resumption, power supply support simultaneously reached its peak capacity.
Similar bustling activity was observed in factories located in the Jinhai District. On the morning of March 3, machinery roared inside the workshop of Zhaolida Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. He Lianxin, the company's production manager, commented while observing the newly operational production line, "The newly added 630 kVA transformer is running smoothly, allowing the production line to operate at full capacity without any issues." As a Tianjin municipal-level green factory specializing in galvanized strip steel pipe production, the company increased its production capacity by 11% last year. Having completed a power capacity expansion just before the Spring Festival, it immediately encountered a production peak at the start of the year. State Grid Tianjin Jinhai Company proactively analyzed the company's energy usage trends using big data and offered suggestions for capacity expansion. Furthermore, catering to the district's diverse industrial ecosystem—which includes tech enterprises, health industries, and logistics parks—the company provided comprehensive support through differentiated services.
"Different business sectors receive tailored power supply service plans, ensuring more stable manufacturing output and smoother service industry operations," said Gao Min, Director of the Marketing Department at State Grid Tianjin Jinhai Company. Since work resumption began, the company has dispatched 10 task forces to various enterprises across different sectors to identify and resolve potential power usage issues, providing precise services to support the local economic recovery.
In Cuihuangkou Town, Wuqing District, the carpet industry cluster was also operating at an accelerated pace. Inside the production workshop of Shengruixiang Carpet Factory, heat transfer printers hummed, completing pattern transfers in seconds as workers hurriedly produced orders destined for Europe. "To handle the orders received during the Spring Festival, we resumed operations on the fifth day of the lunar new year," said Shi Hailong, the company's equipment manager. "Now, with fully electric production, we achieve higher output and better quality at lower costs."
Behind this industrial upgrade lies robust power supply support. Based on the development needs of Cuihuangkou Town's specialized carpet industry cluster, State Grid Tianjin Wuqing Company has been advancing power distribution network upgrade projects since 2025. These efforts have resulted in the construction and adjustment of 17 branch lines, completion of 27 expansion projects, and an increase of 8,505 kVA in power supply capacity.
From providing end-to-end support for key manufacturing sectors and differentiated services for diverse industries to precise empowerment for specialized industrial clusters, reliable "full-capacity power" has injected strong momentum into the post-holiday resumption of operations for various enterprises. Starting March 2, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company launched the "Warming Enterprises with Electricity, Escorting Progress" service campaign. Throughout the year, it plans to conduct visits and provide services to 824 key projects, 288 key reserve projects, large-scale industrial enterprises across 12 key supply chains, and companies focused on new productive forces, thereby offering robust and reliable energy support for Tianjin's high-quality economic and social development.
