Donations Exceed 20 Million Yuan as Multiple F&B and Retail Firms Support Hong Kong Fire Relief Efforts

The fire at Hong Kong's Tai Po Hung Fuk Court in the New Territories has drawn widespread concern, prompting numerous companies and social organizations to join relief efforts. On November 28, it was reported that three major F&B and retail firms—Lao Pu Gold, Luckin Coffee, and Haidilao—collectively donated approximately 23 million yuan in funds and supplies to support disaster relief.

Following the blaze in multiple residential buildings at Tai Po Hung Fuk Court, Haidilao activated its emergency disaster response mechanism. Over 1,200 boxes of instant food supplies are currently en route to designated aid distribution points. Additionally, Haidilao, in collaboration with Yihai International, pledged 4 million yuan to support medical aid, essential supplies, and temporary shelter arrangements for affected residents. The company stated it would continue monitoring relief progress and work with partners to assist victims.

On November 28, Luckin Coffee announced an emergency donation of 10 million yuan to fund urgent rescue operations, humanitarian aid, and post-disaster recovery. The company emphasized its commitment to tracking developments and collaborating with stakeholders to help affected communities recover.

A day earlier, Lao Pu Gold pledged HK$10 million to support fire relief efforts at Tai Po Hung Fuk Court, aiming to aid displaced residents.
