On the morning of April 15, Alibaba's Qwen AI Glasses S1 officially went on sale. Positioned as a flagship product, the glasses feature a display screen, a 12-megapixel camera, and support hot-swappable batteries. The device has undergone systemic redesign at the hardware level to enable all-day AI services. The starting price for the Qwen S1 after its release is 3,499 yuan.
Two weeks prior to the launch, the Qwen AI Glasses received an over-the-air update that introduced new "AI task" capabilities, such as scanning QR codes to unlock shared bikes, paying for parking, and ordering food delivery. For instance, while traveling, users no longer need to take out their phones—they can simply look at a bike's QR code through the glasses and say, "I want to pay," to unlock and ride the bike.
