CHINA EAST EDU adds 0.71 million shares through option exercise; total issued share count reaches 2.22 billion

For the month ended 31 March 2026, CHINA EAST EDUCATION HOLDINGS LIMITED (CHINA EAST EDU) expanded its issued share base by 0.71 million shares, taking the total number of issued ordinary shares to 2.22 billion. The increase stemmed solely from the exercise of options under the company’s Pre-IPO Share Option Scheme at an exercise price of HKD 2.25 per share, generating HKD 1.60 million in cash proceeds.

Authorised capital remained unchanged at 3.80 billion shares with a par value of HKD 0.0001 each, equivalent to HKD 0.38 million.

Option activity: • Pre-IPO Share Option Scheme—outstanding options dropped to 32.18 million after 0.71 million options were exercised during the month. • 2019 Share Option Scheme—111,180 options remained outstanding; the scheme still has capacity to issue up to 217.57 million shares.

No treasury shares were held or cancelled, and no warrants, convertibles, or other share-linked instruments were outstanding.

The company confirmed that it met the public-float requirement, maintaining at least the 20.18 % threshold stipulated at the time of listing.
