Central New EGY's Subsidiary Enters into Cooperation Agreement with Suzhou Heimian

Central New EGY (01735) announced that on May 19, 2026, Suzhou Heimian Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. (Suzhou Heimian) and the company's indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary, Central Low-Carbon New Energy (Anhui) Group Co., Ltd. (Central Low-Carbon), entered into a cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the contracting parties intend to collaborate with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics to jointly develop perovskite/crystalline silicon tandem photovoltaic battery technology suitable for space applications, such as satellites, space stations, and other spacecraft. In this regard, the contracting parties plan to establish a joint venture company as the vehicle for this project based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, and good faith, to promote the technological research and development, pilot verification, and subsequent industrialization of space photovoltaic products. The cooperation content includes: 1. Collaborating with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics to jointly develop core technologies for perovskite/crystalline silicon tandem batteries; 2. Establishing a pilot production line for the pilot verification of large-size batteries; 3. Establishing a space environment adaptability testing and evaluation system; 4. Forming a joint venture company to promote technology industrialization and commercial operation. The Board believes that the cooperation framework outlined in the proposed agreement will enable the Group to leverage its experience and capabilities in new energy project development and operation. The Board also believes that the cooperation can expand the Group's business opportunities, broaden its revenue sources, and enhance its financial performance. Therefore, the Board considers that the cooperation with Suzhou Heimian will be beneficial for the future growth of the Group and aligns with the overall interests of the company and its shareholders.
