Beijing's financial regulatory authority has imposed a financial penalty on a state-owned machinery finance company for failing to accurately classify loan risks, thereby not reflecting the true quality of its assets.

The penalty, amounting to 400,000 yuan, was levied against 国机财务有限责任公司 (China National Machinery Financial Co., Ltd.) by the Beijing Financial Supervision Bureau, as disclosed on an administrative penalty list published on August 14. Additionally, a warning was issued to Huang Yajie, an individual associated with the company.

The regulatory action highlights the bureau's focus on ensuring financial institutions maintain proper risk assessment and reporting standards.
