The Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Zhengzhou Municipal Finance Bureau have recently issued the "Public Notice on Proposed Projects for the 2025 Zhengzhou Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration Application Subsidy Funds." This initiative aligns with the national policy requirements for the fuel cell vehicle demonstration city clusters, aiming to guide the large-scale demonstration and adoption of fuel cell vehicles through fiscal incentives, thereby supporting the high-quality development of Zhengzhou's hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicle industry.

The application for these subsidy funds was organized strictly in accordance with relevant policy documents, targeting market entities participating in fuel cell vehicle demonstration operations within the local area. The project selection process involved multiple rigorous stages, including enterprise self-declarations, preliminary material reviews, expert evaluations, and third-party specialized audits. Following this comprehensive process, a list of proposed projects has been compiled and is now open for public disclosure.

The subsidy funds are primarily directed towards demonstration areas such as the application of complete fuel cell vehicles and the use of hydrogen for vehicles. They cover fuel cell vehicle operation projects across multiple scenarios, including public transportation, logistics trucks, and sanitation vehicles. The goal is to leverage the leveraging effect of fiscal funds to reduce the operational and hydrogen procurement costs for enterprises, further activate the local hydrogen vehicle market, promote the construction and operation of hydrogen refueling infrastructure, and solidify Zhengzhou's foundational role as the lead city within the national fuel cell vehicle demonstration city cluster.

During the public notice period, all sectors of society can raise objections to the proposed projects. If any relevant unit or individual holds different opinions on the publicized content, they must submit feedback in writing, with their real names, to the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Zhengzhou Municipal Finance Bureau within the specified period. The relevant departments will review and address each piece of feedback individually.

Through the implementation of these demonstration subsidy policies, Zhengzhou is continuously refining its support system for the hydrogen energy industry. This effort promotes the coordinated development of the industrial chain encompassing complete vehicles, fuel cell systems, and hydrogen refueling equipment, accelerating the construction of the "Central Plains Hydrogen Capital." This provides strong support for the green and low-carbon transformation of the transportation sector in the Central Plains region.
