Guizhou Establishes Intellectual Property Innovation Consortium for Aerospace Equipment Sector

Deep News05-15

The Guizhou Aerospace Equipment Industry Intellectual Property Innovation Consortium was recently inaugurated in Guiyang. Led by the Management Committee of the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, the consortium comprises leading enterprises, universities, research institutes, industry associations, and service organizations within the province's aerospace sector, marking a new chapter in collaborative intellectual property innovation for Guizhou's aerospace equipment industry.

Currently, Guizhou is intensively developing a national aerospace equipment industry cluster. The Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone has been approved to establish the province's first national-level intellectual property operation center dedicated to aerospace equipment. The formation of this innovation consortium aims to address challenges such as fragmented patent layouts, inefficient commercialization of achievements, insufficient collaborative innovation, and weak intellectual property protection capabilities in the province's aerospace field.

The consortium focuses on integrating industrial resources and providing comprehensive intellectual property services across the entire value chain. Key areas include fostering high-value patents, constructing patent pools, facilitating the transformation of research outcomes, and strengthening rights protection. It aims to promote coordinated efforts among government bodies, enterprises, universities, research institutions, financial institutions, and service organizations, fostering a holistic "government-industry-university-research-finance-service-application" ecosystem for development and operation.
