Tencent Holdings Ltd (00700) climbed 2.93% in the morning, as the competitive landscape for AI-powered office products heats up, with emerging player WorkBuddy aiming to carve out an open ecosystem niche. In another standout move, Zhenhao Health Medical-B (02697) surged more than 19%, following the announcement of a sales contract nearing HK$100 million, accelerating the company's commercialization trajectory.
Dajin Heavy Industry (01081) rose over 11%. The company's expansion in European offshore wind faces supply chain constraints, prompting it to develop new growth avenues through its proprietary transportation fleet and vessel construction capabilities. GAC Group (02238) resumed trading with a 5% gain, after unveiling plans for a major asset restructuring that would see FAW Co., Ltd. become its second-largest shareholder.
Chengdu Beiming (09630) gained more than 5%, supported by expectations that its second-phase production capacity will enter a period of full release in the second half of this year, with robust order backlogs across its entire product lineup. Haiqing Zhiyuan (01392) extended its rally with another 9% upside, amid news that its 'Zhiyuan Origin' large language model has received official model service certification from the Shenzhen government.
SanHe Chemical (00301) advanced 8%, after signing a strategic partnership agreement with Green Circle, which is expected to generate significant cross-industry synergies. Black Sesame Technologies (02533) rose over 5%, driven by rapid growth in its assisted driving business, a ramp-up in embodied intelligence applications, and the consolidation of Yizhi Electronics, which is projected to bolster revenue elasticity.
Tianshu Zhixin (09903) climbed more than 6%, following its inclusion in the Hang Seng Tech Index last week, marking the index's first GPU-related constituent. Xiao Cai Yuan (00999) advanced 6.9% to hit a new seven-month high, after Shenwan Hongyuan initiated coverage with a target price of HK$10.
Gold-related stocks faced collective pressure, as rising expectations for interest rate hikes continue to weigh on the precious metal's momentum. Spot gold has lost the key US$4,300 per ounce level. Tongguan Gold (00340) declined 3.2%, while China Gold International (02099) fell 2.94%.
