CHONGQING M&E reiterates shift to fully electronic distribution of shareholder documents

Chongqing Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. (CHONGQING M&E) issued a reminder dated 16 April 2026 confirming that all future corporate communications will be disseminated electronically.

Key points:

• Scope of documents: The electronic rollout covers directors’ reports, audited annual accounts, interim reports, notices of meeting, listing documents, circulars and proxy forms.

• Access channels: Both English and Chinese versions will be accessible on the company website (www.chinacqme.com) and the HKEXnews platform (www.hkexnews.hk). No printed copies will be mailed unless specifically requested.

• Shareholder action required: – Shareholders yet to register an email address are encouraged to scan a personalised QR code on the reply form or return the form to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, 17M Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. – Without a functional email address on file, the company will continue to send actionable corporate communications in printed form until electronic details are provided.

• Option for hard copies: Shareholders may request printed communications by email to chongqingmachinery.ecom@computershare.com.hk or via the reply form. Such requests remain valid for one year from the date received.

The reminder follows the initial electronic dissemination notice issued on 25 March 2024 and targets registered shareholders who have not yet supplied an email address.
