Jiumaojiu International Holdings Limited (Jiumaojiu) released unaudited key operating data for the first quarter of 2026, showing continued recovery led by flagship brand Tai Er and ongoing store-model upgrades.
Total restaurant network • The Group operated 620 outlets as of 31 March 2026. • Tai Er accounted for 482 units (459 self-operated, 23 franchised), followed by Song Hot Pot with 59 and Jiu Mao Jiu with 62.
Store-level efficiency • Tai Er’s self-operated stores posted a table-turnover rate of 3.5 times per day in Mainland China and 3.6 in other regions. • Song Hot Pot and Jiu Mao Jiu recorded turnover rates of 2.1 and 2.32 respectively.
Average ticket size (RMB) • Tai Er: RMB 74 overall, comprising RMB 67 in Mainland China and RMB 145 overseas. • Song Hot Pot: RMB 108. • Jiu Mao Jiu: RMB 58.
Same-store sales performance (YoY) • Tai Er: +6.9% overall, driven by +10.9% in Mainland China; overseas stores fell 13.5%. • Song Hot Pot: –19.9%. • Jiu Mao Jiu: –11.3%.
Progress of the “Fresh” model • 273 Tai Er stores had converted to the “Fresh” format across 81 core Mainland cities by quarter-end. • Both “Fresh” and traditional Tai Er outlets generated positive same-store growth, underpinning management’s plan to complete the nationwide conversion during 2026.
Management outlook (as disclosed) • With store-structure optimisation largely complete, Tai Er is expected to enter a steadier expansion phase. • New-model Jiu Mao Jiu Shanxi Restaurant outlets have received favourable feedback, and further refinement is underway.
