100% to 1,000% is just a number. The market is no longer pricing in anything above 100% because there is no demand above it

Any tariffs exceeding 60% have already done maximum damage to China's exports as next to no businesses coming out of china operate on this NPAT, real damage will happen once china pull tiktok out of US, rug pulling 40% of the country's population as well as billions worth of GDP and also up to 7mil businesses which depends on the app for operations. Imagine hundreds of thousands of business owners losing their businesses and having to file for unemployment benefits. Trump will illegally try to retain tiktok which will escalate to international conflict, on top of pissed off unemployed voters as well as constitution violation he is ignoring. Wats on all fronts

145% already means shutting doors, any increase is no meaning ! Whether another 100 or 200%, it just goes to show the stupidity and childishness of the administration! What a bunch of jokers !

If they are not independent of China resources then its not a good move. Cause the difference in cost is not due to the materials but the tariffs. Sure other countries can support but it wont be as cheap as previous dealings. With china recent reaction, boeing might not be the only company whose product will be rejected by them.
