US stocks rebounded significantly on Monday, with major indices closing higher as oil prices retreated from recent peaks, boosting market sentiment. The US dollar also pulled back from highs, and the yield on the ten-year US Treasury note fell to around 4.22%. Gold prices remained soft, while oil prices trended lower.
Today, Hong Kong's three major indices opened collectively higher. The Hang Seng Index started up 0.4% at 25,938.43 points, the Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.5%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index advanced 0.27%. In terms of sector performance, most technology and internet stocks opened higher. Alibaba and Tencent each gained nearly 1%, while Baidu fell more than 2%. AI application stocks opened strong, with Minimax surging over 3%. Innovative drug concept stocks were active, with Zai Lab rising more than 1%. Lithium battery shares continued their upward trend, with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited increasing over 1%.
