SKYMISSION GP (ASX: 01429) has announced its intention to explore a new venture in smart circular economy technology. While continuing to steadily develop its core business of providing formwork services in Hong Kong, the company's board has been actively seeking new opportunities to diversify its portfolio and enter new markets with significant growth potential.
Specifically, the board is considering the development of a smart circular economy technology business. This proposed new venture would focus on building a closed-loop ecosystem integrating front-end recycling with back-end smart technology services. Its scope would cover the recycling and quality inspection of digital products, along with technical support and maintenance services for electronics, smart hardware, drones, GPUs, and other high-value equipment.
The company plans to develop this potential new business through organic growth and/or investments in suitable target companies or assets. Any such expansion will be pursued in a prudent and orderly manner, subject to commercial viability, prevailing market conditions, and compliance with relevant regulations.
The board further noted that, as disclosed in a company announcement on March 20, 2026, the experience and network of the company's Chairman and Executive Director, Mr. Zou Feng, in the technology, insurance, and digital mobile product sectors are expected to aid in the planning and development of this potential new business.
Despite this interest in a new venture, SKYMISSION GP will continue to operate its existing core business of providing formwork services in Hong Kong. This established operation remains the fundamental core of the company's activities. Resources will continue to be allocated prudently to maintain operational efficiency, uphold service quality, and support the ongoing development of the existing business.
