Domestic Futures Show Mixed Performance in Afternoon Session, European Container Rates Surge Over 6%

Domestic futures contracts displayed a mixed performance in the afternoon session on February 12, 2026. European container shipping rates led the gains, rising more than 6%, followed by lithium carbonate, which increased over 3%. Urea and soybean meal also advanced, each climbing more than 2%. Smaller gains were seen in eggs, nickel, rapeseed meal, and apples, all up over 1%.

On the downside, butadiene rubber, palladium, ferrosilicon, palm oil, ethylene glycol (EG), platinum, and soda ash all declined by more than 1%.
