Kingsoft Cloud shares surge over 7% after strong Q1 AI cloud revenue growth of 90%

On Monday, Kingsoft Cloud Holdings Ltd (KC.US) shares surged more than 7% to $12.00. The move comes as major cloud providers Amazon and Microsoft posted strong earnings after their respective reports, validating the industry's investment thesis for cloud computing firms.

Kingsoft Cloud's intelligent computing cloud has become a core growth engine. In the first quarter of 2026, the company's AI cloud billing revenue reached 1 billion yuan, surging 90.1% year-over-year. This segment now accounts for over 50% of the company's public cloud revenue for the first time, a significant milestone.

Revenue from the Xiaomi and Kingsoft ecosystem provides a highly predictable and stable foundation. In the first quarter of 2026, revenue from this segment reached 840 million yuan, a substantial increase of 68.9% from the same period last year. This revenue source now represents approximately 31% of total revenue.
