On the morning of March 16, spot gold and silver continued to fluctuate. As of 08:45, spot gold rebounded sharply in a V-shaped pattern, climbing above $5,020 per ounce after earlier plunging below $5,000. Spot silver rose 0.81% to $81 per ounce.

International oil prices declined in the short term, with both WTI and Brent crude briefly falling below $100 per barrel. WTI crude dropped 1.34% to $97.95 per barrel, while Brent crude fell below $100 per barrel, down 0.92% intraday. Losses narrowed by the time of reporting.
