DUIBA (01753) shares rose more than 18% during intraday trading, with the stock price more than doubling cumulatively within the month. As of press time, the stock was up 17.45% at HK$0.875, with a turnover of HK$19.2964 million.
On the news front, DUIBA recently disclosed a voluntary announcement that its AI short drama business recorded net profit for three consecutive months in July, August, and September. Total new views across all platforms in the third quarter exceeded 45.8 billion, which is more than 9 times the first-half total of 5 billion. In terms of viewership, July recorded 6.8 billion, August 12.6 billion, and September 26.4 billion, with month-over-month growth exceeding 100% for three consecutive months.
The company's hit dramas surpassing 100 million views increased from 22 in July to 32 in September, with a peak hit rate of 5.7%, compared to the industry average of only about 0.47%. DUIBA's rate is more than 10 times the industry average.
It is worth noting that DUIBA's third-quarter report reveals a clearer positioning: an AI-Native content platform. Its core competitiveness is not a single hit drama, but rather an AI workflow platform and self-developed Agent matrix covering the entire process from "scriptwriting to production to distribution to commercialization."
More critically, this capability is being replicated in two directions. On the overseas front, locally produced dramas have already been released on TikTok and YouTube, and a self-developed overseas theater app is planned for launch in the fourth quarter. On the WeChat Green Bubble front, according to a management exchange summary from Guosen Securities dated October 12, the company has already begun operations and is supporting video account traffic investment and heating, with significant growth achieved.
