Power Construction Corporation of China Investigates Alleged Construction Violations at Fujian Yong'an Pumped Storage Power Station

On November 29, Power Construction Corporation of China (PCCC) issued a statement regarding media reports about quality issues during the construction of the Fujian Yong'an Pumped Storage Power Station. The company stated it takes the matter seriously and has formed an investigation team to conduct a comprehensive review with relevant parties. PCCC pledged to handle the matter in accordance with laws and regulations and expressed gratitude for public oversight, promising timely disclosure of investigation results.

Earlier reports alleged serious construction violations, including the use of substandard materials, during the building of the lower reservoir dam at the Yong'an Pumped Storage Power Station in Sanming, Fujian Province. The project is being constructed by subsidiaries of PCCC, including Sinohydro Bureau 3 and Sinohydro Bureau 16.
