Industrial Bank Co.,Ltd. held its 2025 performance briefing today, during which Deputy President Zhang Ting described the bank's long-standing vision for interbank operations using the phrase: "A single flower does not make spring; only with a hundred flowers in bloom can the garden be full of spring."
Zhang Ting noted that Industrial Bank's interbank business began with serving securities clearing funds for the Shanghai Stock Exchange, marking the start of its specialized and compliance-driven approach to interbank operations. Reflecting on its development, the bank established a fund operation center in 2003 and 2004, followed by a bank-to-bank cooperation center in 2007, steadily expanding services for small and medium-sized enterprises. In recent years, the bank has introduced strategies such as improving three key ratios, focusing on four core areas, and implementing seven business models. With strong support from the bank's Party committee and the collective efforts of all staff, coverage of interbank customer segments now exceeds 95%, achieving comprehensive client reach.
Zhang Ting emphasized that while actively supporting the five key financial sectors and contributing to building China into a financial powerhouse, Industrial Bank is fully committed to empowering various financial institutions. It provides strong collaboration and support in areas such as investment, repurchase agreements, and clearing services, steadily advancing the development of an interbank business ecosystem. In terms of operational results, revenue from high-value interbank clients has risen from 16.3 billion yuan to 21.1 billion yuan, achieving dual breakthroughs in serving the real economy and driving the bank's own revenue growth.
Looking ahead, Zhang Ting stated that Industrial Bank's interbank business will continue to focus on deepening its presence in financial markets and serving financial institutions. The bank aims to persistently build an interbank financial ecosystem, enhance its resilience to navigate complex cycles, and forge long-term value.
