Driven by robust downstream demand from AI computing power and advanced automotive electronics, leading domestic chip manufacturers have shifted their capacity expansion strategy from "gap-filling expansion" to "advanced-stage capacity building." The focus is now on high-end capacity segments such as HBM high-bandwidth memory, advanced packaging, and 12-inch large silicon wafers. Multiple multibillion-yuan semiconductor manufacturing and packaging/testing projects have been intensively launched, propelling the domestic semiconductor industry towards higher-quality, self-reliant development.
Furthermore, fueled by sustained investment enthusiasm in Singapore's chip and AI hardware sectors, the company's contract signing amounts for the first half of 2026 have already met its interim targets.
