BAIC MOTOR (01958) announced its annual results for the period ending December 31, 2025. The group recorded revenue of RMB 164.047 billion, a decrease of 14.78% compared to the previous year. Annual profit attributable to owners of the parent company was RMB 123 million, representing a significant decline of 87.16% year-on-year. Earnings per share were RMB 0.02.
The decrease in revenue was primarily attributed to intensified price competition and a decline in sales volume. Throughout 2025, the group actively advanced the implementation of its three-year strategic leap forward action plan. It responded proactively to shifts in the market landscape, seized opportunities within the industry's development, and focused on both domestic and international strategic markets. Efforts were concentrated on star product portfolios, with continuous optimization of operational efficiency and a steady enhancement of business quality.
The company maintained a multi-technology roadmap, with products covering diverse categories including internal combustion engine vehicles, pure electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, extended-range electric vehicles, and off-road vehicles. During the reporting period, the combined wholesale sales volume for the Beijing brand, Beijing Benz, Beijing Hyundai, and Fujian Benz reached 868,000 vehicles.
Adhering firmly to its new energy development direction, the group focused on the varied demands of users in different market segments. It continuously improved its new energy product matrix to enhance product market acceptance and core competitiveness. Following its launch, the Beijing brand BJ40 extended-range version consistently led the "boxy" SUV segment, successfully integrating off-road capability with new energy technology. Looking forward, Beijing brand models will undergo comprehensive renewal and iteration, supported by advancements in both new energy and intelligent technologies.
Beijing Benz continued to enhance its "dual-track" product lineup of both traditional and electric vehicles. The first model built on the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA), the all-new pure electric long-wheelbase CLA, was launched, further expanding the pure electric portfolio. In the future, Beijing Benz will continue to introduce more new energy products to maintain its competitiveness in the domestic luxury vehicle market.
Beijing Hyundai introduced its first pure electric SUV, the EO, marking the beginning of a new phase in its comprehensive layout for the new energy sector. Fujian Benz fully initiated the local construction of the Mercedes-Benz VAN.EA platform for new energy commercial vehicles in China. It is steadily progressing with the development of a new luxury pure electric MPV project based on this platform, signaling a forthcoming major upgrade and expansion of its product matrix.
