F Samsung Crude Oil ETF (03175) rose over 3%, up 3.63% as of press time to HK$11.99, with a turnover of HK$352,400.
On the news front, according to market media reports, on the evening of October 13, Yemen's Houthi armed forces attacked Saudi Aramco's administrative office building in Dhahran, causing a fire. The Houthis described Saudi Aramco's facilities as "legitimate targets." Before the attack, the market was already in a state of tight supply. Saudi Aramco CEO Nasser warned at the World Petroleum Congress that global crude oil inventories are approaching "extremely dangerous" low levels, with commercial onshore oil inventories already below 6 billion barrels and possibly taking two years to return to normal.
It is worth noting that since October, international oil prices have clearly strengthened, with Brent crude once breaking above $107 per barrel. Huaan Securities believes that a US-Iran conflict in 2026 will drive oil prices to spike rapidly, and the EIA forecasts Brent crude to average $87 per barrel in 2026. Under the triple effects of frequent geopolitical conflicts, shrinking global oil investment, and limited growth in US crude oil production, crude oil fundamentals will continue to maintain wide-range fluctuations at medium-to-high levels.
