Special Feature: The 9th World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Shanghai Forum & 2025 Shanghai Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting Shanghai Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce Facing the era's profound questions, what answers have Zhejiang entrepreneurs chosen? They have chosen refinement, dedicating decades to advancing precision by decimal places, striving to elevate their products to a 5.0 standard regardless of whether Industry 5.0 arrives. They have chosen perseverance, declaring war on product and technological challenges instead of yielding to the path of least resistance. With a spirit of deep exploration, they aim not to be "pigs flying on the wind" of trends but to become a group of "wind creators." They have chosen symbiosis, sharing technology and expanding markets together. Within the broader context of regional coordinated development, they use the warmth of the collective to withstand individual hardships, pooling the strength of the Zhejiang business community into a powerful force driving economic progress. They have also chosen to strive forward, carrying the courage and determination of "striving" to advance into the uncharted territory of technological innovation and sprint towards new tracks of green development. She stated that the Chamber has demonstrated responsibility in serving the broader picture, implemented practical measures to empower development, achieved results in resource coordination, and shown vitality in its own development, making it a benchmark model for provincial chambers outside Zhejiang. Facing the new era, she hopes that Zhejiang entrepreneurs in Shanghai will harbor aspirations to serve the country and stand at the forefront, striving to be "model students" who always follow the Party. They should wholeheartedly pursue development and scale new heights, becoming "practitioners" of the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation; operate legally and adeptly while demonstrating responsibility, becoming "implementers" of deepening the "Two Healths" (healthy growth of the non-public sector and healthy development of non-public sector individuals); and promote common prosperity after achieving wealth, bravely shouldering the mission to become "contributors" to advancing common prosperity. The Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Government will, as always, pay attention to, care for, serve, and help achieve Zhejiang entrepreneurs, safeguarding their growth and development.
Shou Ziqi, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce, and President of the Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce Shou Ziqi pointed out that the conference theme, "Striving Forward," vividly depicts the spiritual characteristics of the Zhejiang entrepreneur community—standing at the tidehead, daring to be the first, and advancing courageously. It also accurately showcases the progressive posture of the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai as it has marched in step with the times and the city over the past forty years. He hopes that the Shanghai Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce will guide Zhejiang entrepreneurs in Shanghai to aim high and "seize the initiative" by discerning the trends of the times. They should always keep the broader picture in mind, judge major trends, closely follow national strategies, integrate into Shanghai's development, build new advantages, and strengthen new supports for growth. They should journey far and "surge forward" by uniting the strength of Zhejiang entrepreneurs. The Chamber should further leverage its inherent strengths, continuously enhance its service capabilities, promote innovative development, deepen regional coordination, and commit to global operations, thereby expanding new space and adding new vitality for high-quality development. They should work solidly and "burnish the brand" by keeping the nation's major affairs in mind. He hopes the Chamber will strengthen its own construction, inherit the Zhejiang entrepreneur spirit, bravely undertake social responsibilities, promote the establishment of modern enterprise systems with Chinese characteristics, and polish the distinctive "Zhejiang entrepreneur"底色 (essence). 02 Resilient Galloping Forward: A Zhejiang Entrepreneur Report Card Full of Deep Cultivation and Empowerment
Wang Junjin, President of the Chamber and Chairman of Juneyao Group President Wang Junjin elaborated on his understanding of the conference theme "Striving Forward." He pointed out that "striving" is not just an action but a state of being; not only history but also the future, deeply engraved in the cultural genes of Zhejiang entrepreneurs. He interpreted the "striving" path of Zhejiang entrepreneurs from three dimensions: The striving of entrepreneurship is the courage to "cut a path through bloodshed," resonating with reform and breaking a path for Zhejiang entrepreneurs on a blank slate. The striving of responsibility is the resilience to "shoulder heavy burdens," dancing with challenges, reducing costs and increasing efficiency under pressure, seeking opportunities in crises, and treating difficulties as whetstones. The striving for the future is an expedition to "resonate with the times," striving towards breakthroughs in hard technology, a sustainable future, the global market, and standing alongside the younger generation. He particularly emphasized that technological innovation is a new engine for the development of private enterprises, and private enterprises are an important force in the national innovation-driven strategy. Zhejiang entrepreneurs cannot be absent, nor can they fall behind.

The Chamber connected internally and externally, expanding its global layout to "reach smoothly" with the establishment of an International Cooperation Alliance, extending its path of serving the "Belt and Road" construction further. The Chamber deepened links, making government-business relations "clearer and closer." It interacted deeply with Shanghai, effectively linked with Zhejiang, traveled to Guizhou, entered Jiangxi, advanced into Tibet, collaborated between Yunnan and Shanghai, and conducted city pairings, broadening the path of coordinated development. The Chamber integrated and optimized, making precise services "deeper and more substantive," continuously deepening the "Government-Enterprise-Bank-Chamber" cooperation mechanism and enhancing professional service capabilities; it held over 500 various activities throughout the year, solidifying the path of precise service. 03 Creative Surging Forward: "Scientist + Entrepreneur" Dialogue Resonates with Strong Voices When the cool light of the laboratory meets the heat of the market, a collision about "from 0 to 1" quietly occurred on the banks of the Huangpu River. "Artificial intelligence is both a revolution of tools and a tool for revolution," Zheng Qinghua said.
