Shares of Playtika Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: PLTK) plunged 5.6% in pre-market trading on Tuesday after the mobile game developer reported disappointing third-quarter results and lowered its full-year revenue guidance.
For the third quarter of 2024, Playtika reported earnings per share of $0.11, missing the analyst consensus estimate of $0.18 by a significant margin of nearly 39%. The company's revenue of $620.8 million also fell short of the expected $622.51 million.
Adding to the disappointment, Playtika lowered its full-year 2024 revenue guidance to a range of $2.505 billion to $2.52 billion, down from the previous range of $2.52 billion to $2.62 billion. The lowered guidance suggests a potential slowdown in the company's growth trajectory.
