Century Legend Disposes of 180,000 Link REIT Units

Stock News18:30

Century Legend (HKG: 00079) has announced the disposal of a total of 180,000 units in Link REIT (HKG: 00823). The transaction, conducted by its wholly-owned subsidiary on the market, was executed on July 14, 2026, with an average selling price of approximately HK$37.90 per unit.

The total gross proceeds from the sale amounted to HK$6.8212 million, excluding transaction costs. Following this disposal, the group retains a holding of 421,100 Link REIT units.

The primary objective of the sale is to facilitate a reallocation of the group's resources and investment portfolio. Upon completion of the transaction, the group anticipates recording a profit of approximately HK$251,200. This estimated gain is calculated based on the difference between the total gross proceeds (excluding transaction costs) and the carrying value of the disposed units as of June 30, 2026.

The group intends to utilize the net proceeds from the sale for general working capital purposes and potentially for other securities investments when suitable opportunities arise. The directors consider the disposal, which was conducted at prevailing market prices, to be fair and reasonable. They believe it was executed on normal commercial terms and is in the best interests of the company and its shareholders as a whole, as it enhances the company's liquidity position.
