According to feedback from IT Home users, several Apple iPhone models underwent a China filing certificate change on September 29, adding filing numbers for the large models they carry.

A query by IT Home found that the Apple (AAPL) iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max and later models all added large model filing numbers on September 29, including the iPhone Air and iPhone Duo. The Apple iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus did not have their filings updated.

This filing information matches the models supported by Apple Intelligence, which supports the iPhone 15 Pro series and later models.

The "Wangxin China" public account published an announcement in July of this year listing seven filed on-device generative AI services for mobile phones. Among them, the "Apple Intelligence" large model of Apple Technology Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was filed on July 8, 2026, with the applicable scenario being Apple phones. This means that AI features on China-market iPhones are expected to launch sooner.

According to Securities Times, Alibaba (BABA) stated that Alibaba's Qianwen will be integrated into Apple Intelligence as an AI capability, bringing intelligent experiences to users of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS in China. Users will not need to switch between apps and can directly experience Qianwen's text and image understanding, content generation, and other capabilities on Apple devices.
