According to informed sources, U.S. artificial intelligence startup Anthropic is finalizing a joint venture plan worth approximately $15 billion with Blackstone Group LP, Goldman Sachs Group Inc., and several other Wall Street firms. The venture aims to sell AI tools to private equity-backed companies.
The sources indicated that Anthropic, Blackstone Group LP, and Hellman & Friedman will act as the lead partners in the joint venture, with each company expected to invest around $300 million. Furthermore, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. will also participate as a founding investor, contributing approximately $150 million.
