On November 1, multiple automakers successively released their October sales results. Amid fierce market competition, BYD Company Limited (002594) delivered a dazzling scorecard of counter-trend growth.

Data shows that BYD's October new energy vehicle sales reached 490,168 units, up 11% year-on-year, setting a new monthly sales high for the year. Among the automakers and groups that have disclosed data, BYD firmly holds the top position in sales among Chinese automaker groups.

From the perspective of power type, October pure electric passenger vehicle sales reached 305,743 units, up 37.38% year-on-year, refreshing historical records for three consecutive months; plug-in hybrid passenger vehicle sales were 177,382 units. The strong performance of pure electric models marks continuously strengthening consumer confidence in pure electric technology, and also confirms that the company's long-term investment in battery technology and charging infrastructure is being converted into market returns, with technological accumulation translating into sales feedback.

By brand, the Dynasty and Ocean series delivered 423,843 units, firmly maintaining the base; Fang Cheng Bao delivered 43,872 units, up 41.3% year-on-year, also becoming the top-selling new force brand with an average price above 200,000 yuan; Denza delivered 15,152 units, up 49.5% year-on-year, with Denza's average transaction price at 330,000 yuan; Yangwang delivered 258 units. In the third quarter, sales of models priced above 200,000 yuan reached 173,507 units, capturing the top spot in sales among Chinese brands in the above-200,000-yuan price segment.

Overseas Markets Continue Rapid Growth, Globalization Layout Advances in Depth

Technology-Driven Development, R&D Investment Forges a Moat

Behind the performance growth is sustained technological investment. From the second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology, and the Xuanji A3, China's first 4nm intelligent driving chip, to the 12,165 flash charging stations already built nationwide, and the release of the AI super intelligent agent "Didi Xia AI," BYD is taking technological innovation as its core driving force, accelerating its transformation from an automobile manufacturer to a new energy technology giant.

Third Quarter Financial Report Shines, R&D Expenses Far Exceed Same-Period Profit
